Responding to the call made by the organisation, Anambra Irish Professionals Association (AIPA) Ireland earlier in the year and that of numerous other indigenes of the State, the Anambra State government swung into action. Today, the bridge that was popularly known and referred to as "the bridge of death" is now a transformed sight, complete with railings.
